Grading
We can grade camp roads, around homes after completion, and correct water problems. Getting the proper grade for your project is crucial. It is your foundation for years to follow!
Erosion Control Methods
This is a broad term used for stabilizing soil and preventing soil erosion. A few of the erosion control methods we provide include vegetation, geotextiles, mulch, and retaining walls. The most effective and simplest is planting vegetation – plants establish a root system that holds onto the soil, helping it stay in place.
Retaining Walls
Retaining walls can be used to control erosion issues, support garden beds, or establish a raised patio. We can transform your back yard into the retreat you deserve! We use New England Specialty Stone for our hardscape materials located in Cumberland, Maine.
Patios
We can transform your backyard into the retreat you have been imagining. From natural stone to modern and sleek, patios enhance outdoor spaces and appeal to a broad range of styles and environments.
Site Preparation
Do you need a site prepared for building? We can remove all debris and vegetation so you can start your project on time.
Culvert Replacement
Is your culvert failing? Has it already failed? We are certified with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and can repair or replace your culvert!
Walkways
Walkways and paths enhance your landscape project and add value to your home. Flagstone or cement paver walkways can be graceful, curving garden paths or a beautiful modern walkway that leads to your fireplace out back.
Drainage & Installation
If excess water is making your yard seem soggy, flooding your basement or crawl space, you may need to install a drainage system to help avoid further damage. Drainage swales, retention ponds, drain pipes, and/or culverts can all be a solution to your drainage problem.
Landscape Boulders
Large natural stone boulders are perfect for a quick landscape makeover! Adding boulders as retaining walls or for a dramatic focal point in your garden is a simple but effective way to add beauty to your property.
Sodding
Sodding is the perfect way to get a new lawn established immediately. We work with Down East Turf Farms in Kennebunk, Maine to deliver the best sod/seed that’s out there!
Hydro-seeding
A slurry mixture of grass seed, fiber mulch, fertilizer, and tack. Then sprayed through a pressurized hose that will retain the moisture to facilitate the grass seed to germinate. Hydro-seeding can also be beneficial in soil erosion and more importantly a beautiful new lawn!
Storm Water Management
When creating your outdoor space, it is effective in managing your stormwater while enhancing your outdoor living space. This function and beauty can be created with rain gardens, retention ponds, swales, and dry river beds.
